Standing on the picturesque Carlos Street, lined with grand trees and colorful colonial-style homes, is a boutique which perfectly captures the spirit of the island’s elegance. Imbued with an alluring hint of exotic charm, at the heart of this exceptional space is a unique and inspiring woman: Vanessa Sabeeney. A former flight attendant who rose to an executive level in the chemical industry, Vanessa had always dreamed of starting her own business. One day, a brochure for a swimwear convention in Colombia caught her eye, and in that moment, a spark was lit. She was immediately drawn to the world of swimwear, and the idea of building a concept around it came naturally….  that is how the stunning Bikini Cabana boutique was born. When customers walk into this magical setting, they are amiably greeted with a coffee or a glass of champagne to set them at ease. In a sleek, minimalist space where crisp white sets the tone, subtle tropical accents bring a refreshing splash of warmth. 

To the left a white reception desk, while straight ahead, a plush sofa invites shoppers to relax; to the right, a rack displaying the “look of the week.” Every detail is curated to create an elevating experience where every woman, however chic and sophisticated, can feel seen, heard, and celebrated. The range of brands is carefully curated and highly selective: Lenny Niemeyer, Vix, Melissa Odabash, Elan… Labels that blend elegance, flattering cuts, and top-notch quality. Vanessa leaves nothing to chance: building genuine connections with her clients, earning their loyalty through attention to detail, personalizing each interaction, and enthusiastically sharing her inspirations and latest finds. All this has paid off, with clients returning and spread the word, never missing any of the boutique’s updates. Building on the momentum of her success, Vanessa has gone on to launch her own swimwear label, named after her boutique, Bikini Cabana. Her vision is clear: to turn her store into a go-to destination for beach lifestyle in the Caribbean and expand that refined aesthetic to other islands, with carefully chosen partners. Among her favorite events are the outdoor fashion shows under the stars! During those evenings filled with music, creativity, and shared joy, models parade in a vibe that’s both festive and elegant. Perhaps it’s this authenticity, the ability to stay true to her roots while always evolving, that makes Bikini Cabana so special.

We love the tropical wallpaper that sparks a sense of adventure, the large green plant breathing life into the space, and the gold clothing racks, adding just the right touch of chic.
