"WE HAD TO CLOSE THE STORE, BUT ... "

I.C.London, Charlotte, North Carolina, has taken on to calling all of their best customers to see if they would like to participate in our gift card special. For each $50 they purchase, an additional $10 is being added to the value to the card. I.C.London is also offering 20% off any in-stock items! The lingerie store has been sending customers pictures of the items personally via social media. Once a customer makes a purchase, store owner Shelly Domenech is offering curbside pickup or shipping.

La Femme Dangereuse Lingerie, Long Island, New York, had to close their doors on March 22.  Since then they have received a good response by reaching out to some of their best customers using the past purchase information they have collected from their point of sale system!  They are offering to put together a “refresher package” of the customer’s favorite items. La Femme Dangereuse Lingerie has also been very active on social media (trying to capitalize on the number of people stuck at home on their phones!) and doing flash sales in their stories.

Undercover Secrets, Castlegar, British Columbia, Canada, had to close their doors on March 20. They expressed that it’s heartbreaking for her not to see her clients and to be able to laugh with them.  To keep their customer engagement, Undercover Secrets has moved its positivity online.  They have become more active on social media and have opened the option of ordering over the phone or via private message. They are looking to the community and the industry for additional creative ideas to try out!

We even received a response all the way from Nairobi, Kenya! Double Dee’s closed their doors on March 23, and since then they have been leveraging their social media presence.  They have been trying to deliver the perfect fit to an audience that is new to shopping for underwear online.

Genalisa Lingerie, Nyack, New York, store owner Gena Lisa, is practicing positivity. Closing the shop opened her mind to all the ways to stay in place and keep in touch. She has found that posting incentives has been a great way to inspire her followers and the interaction with them is welcomed and heartfelt. Importantly, Gena has noted the encouraging attention from vendors checking in with concern for the future. As of now, what has worked in postings for Genalisa Lingerie are limited-time incentives for core products. In an effort to keep business steady, they will soon be offering trunk shows for pre-sale and special orders!
