Intima shines at the 2016 Femmy Awards

Cipriani 42nd Street served as the perfect backdrop for the highly anticipated Femmy Awards Gala, a glamorous night of fundraising and prize-giving held annually to salute the work and commitment of the industry figures whose efforts have made a strong impact on the field. The President's Award went to Intima Media Group's very own Francesca Spinetta; a longtime champion of new talent, she was chosen to receive the well-deserved trophy for a number of initiatives, including the support and visibility given every year to the students whose innovative design aesthetics provide a fascinating insight into the future of lingerie. Three such budding designers were picked this year as part of the FIT Design Contest, whose theme, Artists as Muse, provided the perfect inspiration to top-prize winner Kimberly Paley as well as fellow finalists Valerie Lopez and Laura Leong; all three are featured in this issue of The Best of Intima via an exclusive photo shoot. 
A special Lifetime Achievement Award crowned Martin Trust’s long and fruitful career at the helm of Mast Industries, the lingerie manufacturing giant he founded in 1970. Amazon Fashion, represented by DMM of Women's Basics Meredith Bunche, Best Pacific/New Horizon, represented by CEO Kane Zhang Haitao, Lane Bryant/Cacique, represented by CEO Linda Heasley, Richard Leeds International, represented by CEO Richard Leeds and President Marcia Leeds, as well as Victoria's Secret, represented by CEO Sharen Turney, were amongst the other honorees.
