From the 14th to the 16th of June Tahiti Fashion week will showcase top fashion, local culture, local designers, and stylists, alongside creations from emerging talent. After the catwalks in London, Paris, New York, Milan and Sydney, this special three days of fashion is a unique opportunity to bring together the authentic Le Isole di Tahiti and the international fashion industry. Alongside the catwalks, Tahiti Fashion week will also feature a special competition exclusively for models. The winner of this competition will be selected and announced during ga special gala on the final night of the event, the 16th of June. Bruno Pauletta, CEO of Italian modeling agency Brave Models, Auro Varani, inventor of the comp card and Marilyn Gauthier, founder of Marilyn Agency will all sit on the prestigious jury.
In 2016, more than 30 local stylists and artists presented their creations to fashionistas and industry professionals from all over the world!
The event is known for its high-quality casting, shows, rehearsals and professional coaching which make it a success ever year, thanks to its team, largely made up of volunteers, under the guidance of Alberto Vivian, Artistic Director and Laurence Joutain, Operational Director of the Event.
