Blending the worlds of ballet, couture and contemporary bodywear, Just A Corpse has built a distinctive creative language rooted in heritage, craftsmanship and artistic experimentation. Founded by designer and former dancer Uroš Belantič alongside Valerija Kelava, whose background in high fashion modeling shaped the brand’s strong visual identity, the label reimagines the leotard as both a functional garment and a fashion statement.
Inspired by classical ballet, Slovenian artisanal references and tactile creative processes, the brand develops pieces where prints and textures emerge through physical gestures such as embroidery, sculpting and drawing. Their approach to “body-a-wear” moves fluidly between dance, swim and everyday dressing, resisting traditional categories while combining elegance, comfort and technical precision.
At the heart of the collection, hybrid creations such as the BodyDress embody this vision, merging the sophistication of eveningwear with the versatility and ease of bodywear.
