The Best ofIntima & Swim Edit
For a long time, fabric in swimwear was expected to stretch, flatter and disappear behind the silhouette.
That hierarchy is changing.
Across many S/S 27 directions, fabric itself is becoming the point of differentiation. Compact knits, controlled elasticity, micro-ribs and engineered textures are no longer secondary decisions, but part of how value is perceived.
The question is no longer simply whether a swimsuit fits. But how it holds, recovers and maintains its relationship with the body over time. Performance is now embedded in the material itself.
Part of Signs Before the Wave, a broader directional analysis featured in the upcoming issue of The Best of Swim.
