From Rimini to Rome, via Milan: Iceberg’s collection for spring/summer goes on an Italian journey, mixing the pop of the brand’s beachside hometown with the attitude of the city. Straight from the catwalk, is softened for summer; iconic Iceberg prints are refreshed and reintroduced, while new prints play with the mythology of the Italian capital.
 
“This collection takes the energy of the catwalk and filters it through three Italian cities: Rimini, Rome and Milan. It’s about pleasure, play, sharpness and subversive twists. There’s an accessibility to every piece, and a deep love of Iceberg’s past, present and future,” says creative director James Long.
 
Rome is a major influence, from the stone shades of its sculptures to the words of its poets.
 
Iceberg is always a permanent pop life: iconic panda prints, Looney Tunes favourites, like Bugs Bunny the monster Gossamer, as well as Felix the Cat.

WITH THE ARRIVAL OF THE TALENTED FRENCH DESIGNER JEAN-CHARLES DECASTELBAJAC, THE BRAND SET THE FASHION WORLD ON FIRE WITH AN ALL-KNITWEAR COLLECTION INSPIRED BY POPART.
THE PHOTOS SHOW SOME OF THE TESTIMONIALS OF THE ICEBERG UNIVERSE AS INTEREPRETED IN THE 80’S BY OLIVIERO TOSCANI IN HIS CAMPAIGN “I CONTEMPORANEI".
ON COMPLETING THE PRESTIGIOUS RCA MA COURSE, JAMES LONG MADE HIS CATWALK DEBUT FOR AUTUMN/WINTER 2008. SINCE 2016 HE’S BEEN DESIGNING THE MEN’S, WOMEN’S COLLECTIONS AND HE IS IN CHARGE OF THE LICENSING PROJECTS: JUNIOR COLLECTIONS, PARFUMS, EYEWEARANDSHOES.
KNOWN FOR HIS INNOVATIVE TAKE ON TRADITIONAL KNITWEAR, JAMES’ DESIGNS OFTEN COMBINE BOLD PRINT, STREAMLINE SILHOUETTES AND TECHNICAL FABRICS. PROVOCATIVE YET WEARABLE, JAMES LONG COMBINES AN EYE FOR STYLE WITH METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ALL MIXED HIS RELAXED, UNINHIBITED APPROACH TO DESIGN.
