The Best of Intima Awards

Emotional Retailing

21 May 2026

Retail conversations often focus on product, visibility, or growth. Yet across another group of The Best of Intima Awards 2026 nominees, a different reality emerges one built on emotional continuity, trust, and long term human connection.

These boutiques operate as retail spaces, certainly. But also as places of reassurance, transition, education, recovery, and belonging.
Different stories, different communities a shared understanding that intimacy retail is rarely only transactional.

Intimi
Intimi was built from a personal turning point.
Founder Carolyn Greenman transformed her own discovery of professional bra fitting into a broader mission centered on body education, inclusion, and respect. Opened in 2024, the boutique quickly positioned itself as a space designed not around a single client profile, but around multiplicity identities, sizes, experiences, and needs.
The retail model naturally extends into community activity, from workshops to fundraisers and educational events, reinforcing a vision of lingerie connected to confidence, comfort, and care.

Bliss Beneath
At Bliss Beneath, inclusivity is approached through consistency rather than messaging alone.
The boutique combines an extensive size range with a strong educational component, translating bra fitting expertise into accessible digital communication. Reels, fitting advice, and garment care content all contribute to a relationship that continues well beyond the fitting room.
What emerges is a retail environment structured around reassurance practical, direct, and ongoing.

Cream Lingerie
Cream Lingerie reflects a transition managed with balance.
Following a change in ownership at the end of 2024, Tenniel Bacon stepped into leadership while maintaining continuity with the boutique’s long standing identity. The result is neither rupture nor replication, but gradual evolution grounded in respect for what already existed.
Community remains central, particularly through initiatives such as the boutique’s Spring Fashion Show, where retail, local engagement, and fundraising intersect naturally.

Truly U
For Truly U, the past year tested the strength of the structure behind the boutique.
During a deeply difficult personal period for founder Kelly Rocha, leadership responsibilities were carried collectively, allowing the business to continue operating without losing its identity. The response from the community including the boutique’s Best of Omaha recognition revealed the extent to which long term client relationships had already been built.
What stands out is not resilience as branding, but resilience as practice.

Tutti Bellissima Intimates
At Tutti Bellissima, connection is treated as part of the retail experience itself.
Founder Beata Takahashi built the boutique from a deeply personal professional journey, shaping an environment centered on welcome, accessibility, and human interaction. The emphasis is placed not only on product selection, but on how clients feel within the space.
Trust, conversation, and attentiveness become structural elements of the business itself.

Across these nominations, retail appears not simply as commerce, but as infrastructure for support, confidence, and continuity. This ongoing reading of the market is precisely where The Best of Intima Awards positions its attention through the boutiques shaping intimacy retail far beyond product alone.
