Longer Life for Bras
No matter the quality, bras need proper care to maintain a good fit over time. Research shows bras are often discarded within 12 months due to cup deformation, size changes, or wear, with cup deformation being the main issue. A user survey consulted by the designer herself confirmed this, and found that many lack knowledge about correct bra hanging. Challenges included poor awareness and low adherence to proper hanging methods. Interviews revealed distractions hinder correct hanging, and that having better easy-to use tools for routine care can make a vast difference. Inspired by this data, Joyce Lai developed a versatile hanger designed to help users preserve their bras’ shape with ease and effectiveness and that will not go unnoticed.

 As a sleek a one-piece design, Bras Up features adaptable clips that fit various sizes and styles, as well as  connectors to link multiple hangers for better space use. The hanger supports the bra’s cup shape physically and includes visual guides to help smooth cups. Available in two styles—line and circle—it promotes airflow for faster drying.
