Tintex Honnored by ISPO

Twice a year, ISPO recognizes innovative fabrics and components that are used to manufacture sports apparel with ISPO Textrends. The ISPO fair and its jury of experts uncover the biggest innovations from the manufacturers in the sports sector, classified by several categories. For the FW 2019-20 season, the Tintex company, known for its vast offer of high-tech fibers made from organic and natural fibers, has won the title "Best Product" in the "Soft Equipment" category with its item 4691TC, created thanks to their exclusive "B.Cork" method. B.Cork is a high-tech lamination of water-based coating, free of both formaldehyde and solvents. It sources pre-consumer certified cork waste to create a coating which is waterproof, soft and breathable with a natural look.

The jury also appreciated Tintex's fabrics 4626 (15% PES, 7% EL, 78% Tencel) and 4746TT (61% CO, 39& Tencel), respectively placed in the Top 10 categories "Eco Era" and "Membranes & Coatings." Seven further Tintex materials were selected as runners-up across various categories. 4724TC (cotton), 4535A001 (mostly Tencel) & 4599A001 (mostly Tencel) in the "Base Layer" selection, 4397A001 (made from Modal and Ecotec by Marchi & Fildi) in the "Eco Era" category, 4563TCA001 (cotton) in "Street Sport", and both 47444TT and 4640TC in "Membranes and Coatings." Alongside the other products selected by the jury, Tintex's fabrics will be on show at the Forum ISPO TexTrends at the ISPO show in January 2018.
