The Second Lingerie Forum in the Baltics

Following the success of the first forum, The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and The Association of Latvian Lingerie Manufacturers (LATVERA) continue to support the aLatvian Lingerie Forum in order to give international buyers a taste of the country's rich manufacturing tradition and expertise. The event kicked off with a conference session, followed by prescheduled B2B meetings, and completed by a general fashion show and networking cocktail party. Welcome speeches were made by Andris Ozols, Director of LIAA and Elena Strahova, President of the Baltic Fashion Federation followed by an interesting presentation of the Latvian production district by Yuriy Khadarovitch, Chairman of LATVERA. A keynote speech on the market structure and dynamics of key European countries was given by Mrs Francesca Spinetta, Editorial Director of the Intima Media Group, joined by panelists from each one of the countries: Mr. Marco Kebbe, Head of Business Development & Global Sales, Otto and Category Swimwear & Lingerie at Lascana (Germany). Mrs. Dawn Barber, Managing Director of UK Tights, UK Swimwear and UK Lingerie.com, Mr. Marcello Dolcini, Sales & Marketing Consultant, I.S.M. Srl (Italy), Mr. Stéphane Derrien, Founder and Director of Réservoir Mode, (France), Mr. Kevin O'Neill, Lingerie & Swimwear Buyer for Beales Department Stores (UK), and Mr. David Finlayson, Director of APM Agency (UK) : After the B2B meetings, a catwlk show features the  collectons of twelve Latvian brands: Stefi-L, Nikol Djumon, Orhideja, Glora, Novella, V.O.V.A, Rosme, V.I.P.A, Regina N, Gracija-Rim, Lauma Lingerie and Flash You and Me. The following day, participants could chose to attend factory visit program in Riga and Liepaja or retail tours at Amoralle, Rosme, Lauma Lingerie, V.O.V.A, and V.I.P.A's flagship stores.

The Lingerie Made in Latvia special edition by Intima
Intima contributed to the event with a special bi-lingual English and Russian edition dedicated to Latvian Lingerie manufacturers. The supplement will also be available with Intima’s magazines in every country.
