New location, new retail concept: Saint Tropez is located in Brescia, in the landlocked Italian region of Lombardy, far from the sunny beaches of its namesake. It has recently undergone a makeover to help it better respond to the needs of its clients.

For 27 years, Saint Tropez has been a local institution for lingerie, beachwear and more. Francesca Guzzardi is not only a trend-spotting entrepreneur, but also a virtual institution herself. Her motto: Never stop dreaming. She has already changed the boutique’s location five times, always seeking out a space that is more conducive to interesting and innovative initiatives. Her new locale is situated within a historic shopping portico in the heart of Brescia. Always faithful to carrying the best lingerie brands available, Francesca now completes the offer with accessories and some ready-to-wear. The interesting fashion offerings are selected by scouting showrooms and cutting- edge trade shows, and are perfectly integrated with the lingerie and beachwear line-up to create a female total look, for a clientele that is ever-widening in terms of age, taste and purchasing power. ❤ We love that the interior was designed by Marcella Bonacina in a modern, highly-visual style that serves as a backdrop for the coherent and sumptuous selection. Wood is combined with brown steel, pearl-white furniture and transparent glass to create modular spaces, which adapt to the seasonal offering: in summer, an essential total look is available for beachwear, clothing and accessories; in winter, an entire wall is dedicated to lingerie, while another offers ready-to-wear and knits. Large niches with stands and shelves, as well as a permanent sliding wall, allow the shop’s layout to change to reflect the themes in the shop window. The offer is organized by mood, atmosphere and color; for Francesca there is no set rule, she lets her imagination go with the moment – a winning formula!
