Monticolor presents Deocell Evolution

Specialist in the design and creation of yarns, the Brescia-based company combines sustainability and performance with the launch of the new Deocell Evolution family for F/W 2023-24

In the new collection for hosiery, weaving and jersey, Monticolor applies active performance to recycled raw materials derived from renewable or biological resources, giving them new functions.
From this R&D the Deocell Evolution project was born, based on the technologically advanced features of the Deocell fibre, which neutralises odors by eliminating ammonia and transforming it into odorless compounds. The action of Deocell does not derive from a treatment, but is obtained by modifying the Tencel Lyocell fibre; therefore it does not release harmful substances and the effect does not diminish with washing.
With the new Deocell Evolution family, the deodorizing performance of the Deocell fiber is combined with natural and technical materials to maximize performance from a sustainable perspective.

Soft and hypoallergenic, the Deocell Cotton yarn offers the Deocell Lyocell fiber (30%) mixed with cotton (70%) for an effective mix of functionality and naturalness, and is suitable for underwear, socks, medical, bath linen, home , leisure clothing.

Ideal for fitness, yoga, pilates and all indoor sports, with 10% Deocell Lyocell, 60% GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified polyester recycled from post-consumer bottles and 30% OCS (Organic Content) organic cotton Standard), the Deocell Eco yarn combines the deodorant function with the characteristic of drying quickly but with a natural appearance and extreme perception of comfort.

Made with 80% GRS recycled polyester from post-consumer plastic bottles and 20% Deocell Lyocell, the Deocell Dry yarn ensures maximum breathability for technical garments that are always dry, functional and fresh as if they had just been washed. It is therefore particularly suitable for use in active outdoor sports such as running, skiing, tennis and all aerobic practices.
