After a 10-year career in the intimate apparel business, Madeleine van der Bent opened her first boutique in 2007 and fittingly called it « Madeleine ». It stands in the heart of the Danneweg, one of the oldest and most charming streets in The Hague, a city big on culture, heritage… and shopping! Inside the store collections are displayed according to color, giving life to magnificent chromatic harmonies, and making product selection easier. Madeleine offers a vast range of lingerie sets, nightwear, and loungewear, as well as swimwear – all year round – and accessories. All this comes with the cheerful and helpful advice of the sales assistants, who make sure every woman enjoys the most pleasant of shopping experiences. In 2020, strong of her expertise and the delightful collections, Madeleine opened a second store, this time in Wassenaar, a charming village by the sea, with a backdrop of sand dunes and breathtaking nature. Customers shopping at Madeleine are always welcomed warmly, and once the assistants have identified their needs, they will be led to the cocooning fitting rooms, decorated with graphic wallpaper in blush pink, velvet curtains and carpets … To end the shopping experience in style, purchases are slipped into magnificent shopping bags imbued with the scent of « Teint de neige » perfume by Lorenzo Villoresi. 
