Le Bazaar (Mexico)

Sipping a drink on a terrace surrounded by palm trees while choosing beautiful vacation outfits,  this is the concept Chloé and Francesca have put in place since 2016! Of French and Mexican origins, it was during a stay on the island that Chloé met Francesca, owner of the Casa las Tortugas hotel which now houses Bazaar. Having worked in the fashion industry in Paris for 10 years, the globetrotter decided to join up with Francesca in Holbox to create a unique place, filled with treasures ranging from local Mexican designs to incredible finds from all over the world. The location reflects the island's bohemian-tropical style and plays a key role in the atmosphere of the activities of  Luuma, a restaurant which stays open late into the night. Beneath a sleek wooden roof, and natural style lighting the entire space comes to life adorned with decorative elements sourced from Mexican antique dealers. 

Each piece has been carefully selected, with the aim of offering a typically Latin American vibe, based on the whims of the moment, the heart and inspiring encounters. The idea behind the concept store is to enable travelers to discover the magnificent designs Mexico has to offer, moving away from the clichéd idea of local art offered in Cancun souvenir stores. Two bohemian-chic chests open to the outside world offering beach dresses, swimsuits and other accessories, from Latin America and Europe, for clients to marvel at..  Particular attention is paid to textiles, with no polyamides or synthetics... Most of the brands on offer are made by traditional craftsmen or created by talented designers. The island's loyal clientele also love to step in to discover the latest collections and enjoy pop-up events on the beach.
