La Belle Fifi’s worldly atmosphere is bohemian and luxurious, comfortable yet elegant and its vibe can be traced back to owner Fiona Durst’s passions and inspirations. Having initially opened a lingerie boutique with some high-end swim, in 2017 she moved the store to a charming nearby location and decided this was the perfect opportunity to specialize in swim and resort wear. She kept the blush tones from the former lingerie shop but revamped it with a renewed vacation feel in line with her offer. The boutique’s furniture comprises choice pieces selected and refurbished by Fiona herself, a mix of sophistication and artistic expression. The fitting rooms are large and comfortable, while the seating area is never short of coffee or rosé wine! Every week Fiona goes to the farmers market to replenish on fresh flowers and orchids which can be admired in large vases throughout the store. Being well-travelled and having lived in the most diverse places, Fiona has brought a unique and eclectic touch, giving La Belle Fifi something of a European concept store feel to it. In her own words, it has really become an extension of the way she likes to vacation: alongside a selection of her favorite swim/resort wear and ready-to-wear collections from all over the world are handpicked body products and fragrances, linen bags from Portugal, espadrilles from Spain, exquisite handmade shoes by a friend in Cape Town, custom-sized hats made just for Fifi in Texas, and a magnificent selection of sarongs. To the delight of customers there is ample space for sipand- shop afternoons as well as trunk shows (and a courtyard for events!). Whatever the shape or size, clients know Fiona will go out of her way to give everyone a positive experience and find just the swimming suit they love.
