When Fannypants, a brand that developed a solution to incontinence that matches fashion with functionality, learned about the face mask shortages among the northern Virginia regional hospitals they felt compelled to step up and help.
Fannypants donated 100 hand-sewn masks to Inova Emergency Center and Mary Washington hospitals.
The situation had become so desperate that the exhausted nurses who were working double and triple shifts had been asked to recycle their disposable masks -- all because of this lack of supplies. To help solve this problem and shortage, Fannypants thought "some reusable and washable options would be just the thing!"
Made in Virginia, the Fannypants filtration masks are washable and reusable. They have received positive feedback from the nurses who received the donation, saying that the masks were fabulous and fit well over their faces.
Fannypants shared that: "We are honored to contribute in some small way for the nurses who work so hard during the Covid-19 pandemic."
