TRUE CHILL: EASE, LEISURE, RELAX... OR is it "TRUCHIL", the PLAYFUL WRIGGLE of the trout AFTER WHICH THE BRAND IS NAMED? S/S 2021 IS A PLAY ON WORDS AND BRINGS TO THE RUNWAYS A FAMILY TALE IN MULTICOLOR.

Created in 2014 by Amanda Gutiérrez Martín and Adonais Sarmiento, the Spanish brand’s limited series creations made 100% in the Canaries, epitomize the contemporary beachwear style targeted at an active and dynamic clientele, where comfort and versatility, style and lifestyle merge in complete expressive freedom. The brand’s inspirational mascot, the "trucha", or trout, symbolizes the carefree attitude of those living life in color.


For S/S 2021 Como la Trucha al Trucho draws its inspiration from the works by film director Wes Anderson and his controversial portraits of family life, overturning and filtering reality through the brand’s "fun" and happy-go-lucky universe. The True Chill collection presented at the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida brings us a real "truchil" (ie: from the trout’s point of view) family tale. A kaleidoscope of bright colors, fun prints and unusual shapes for women, men and children: color portraits of a multifaceted reality, an unusual and wonderful family, whose happy members – or them as children - interpret fascinating characters, playing with the variety of looks offered by a distinctly “over the top” wardrobe.
