DESSEILLES' SWIMWEAR LACE

For SS18, Desseilles are presenting a new lace specially made for swimwear. This new lace is not only stretchier but also more resistant than that used on lingerie and is also resistant to chlorine, sea water and UV. What’s more it lends itself to different patterns than those typically found on traditional lace, meaning that it is more adapted for swim fashion!

Mühlmeier’s TEC CASUAL

Say hello to the M-Tec Casual- Progressive Support BraCup, the latest underwire free, high-tech innovation from the German company. Perfect for use in the swimwear segment, this new item has the following advantages: a stable construction with inserted foam underwiring, a soft and comfortable neckline which molds perfectly to the breast, and finally, a metal free construction which is an advantage when it comes to health and well-being.

PENN TEXTILE SOLUTIONS' DREAMSHAPE SECRETS

Launched for shapewear in the lingerie and sports segments, the differentiated stretch fabrics from Penn Textile solutions secretly shape the silhouette. They are now also available for swimwear! Created on Rascheltronic Karl Mayer looms, Dreamshape Secrets bring together non-stretch and stretch elements in order to create fabrics that on the inside are very supportive but on the outside the fabric hides the shaping action with a beautiful jacquard effect. A superb mix of functionality and design!

EUROSTICK'S NEW FABRICS WITH FINENESS 50

New entries into Eurostick’s swimwear collection, the fabrics with fineness 50 have been introduced in polyamide/ elastane and polyester/ elastane items, which are available in different grammages (145-170-190 g/m2) for different uses in both swimwear and beach shapewear. Very dense with a smooth and compact surface that brings out the best in colors and design definition, these bases lend themselves easily to printing, ennobling, pleating and flocking.

THE ILUNA GROUP'S NEW FLOCKS

A new development for beachwear 2019, the flocks – already presented as a preview for swim in July with innovative solutions on lace and tulle – are now being proposed also on a polyester microfiber (140g) base. They work well both all over and as a border effect, creating a strong visual impact in terms of texture, design definition and tattoo effect. The flocked microfiber is coordinated with the colors and patterns of the products from Iluna’s beachwear collection, designed to be used on swimwear, parèos and beach ready-to-wear solutions.

JUNIOR'S PATTERNS WITH 3D EFFECT

Playing with the combination of different laser cut fabrics (the company’s speciality in the beachwear segment), Junior has created new overlaying effects with eye catching results. New for 2019, patterns made from cut outs in opaque and bright fabrics. The addition of gold or bronze coating creates contrast between the pattern’s different elements, giving an overall 3D effect.

WEGAL & TRICOTEL'S EVEN & LUXOR

The 2019 collection is enriched with two new items. Even, composed of 75 percent polyamide and 25 percent elastane is for the swim, lingerie, and sportswear segments where warp knitted fabrics with a fine gauge are available in 16 colors. Luxor (80% polyamide, 20% elastane; 180 g/m2) has been created for the swimwear, sport, activewear and dance segments. Even is very compact and soft and with just 140 g/m2 is extremely covering and offers a higher elastic modulus which flatters the silhouette.

In regards to the Luxor fabric, a special surface treatment gives it a ‘wet’ effect which makes colors bright and silky. In terms of style, the new waffle effects have reinvented Wegal’s swim, sport and athleisure fabrics, illustrating their surface with micro geometric designs which are visible under the reflection of natural light.

BOSELLI'S T0640 SOFTMECH

For summer 2019, Boselli’s swimwear and beach ready-to-wear offer has grown to include fabrics with a double effect, obtained in the weaving phase rather than the finishing phase. The fabrics are composed of two layers which join at a specific point in order to create a 3D effect, making open cells inside the structure of the fabric which improve ventilation. High-tech meets fashion for a wide range of applications from swimwear, beachwear to the parèo.
