Founded by Anastasia “Ana” Cabrit, Baboosha is a daring young brand which specializes in slippers that are far from your typical house shoe. Instead, this French brand creates luxury slippers designed in Paris and carefully handmade by local artisans in the majestic Andes Mountains of Peru with the Suri Alpaca fur. Hypoallergenic and durable, Baboosha has three lines: Swirl, Express and Low Rider, each one available in a range of colors. From flashy to minimalist as well as honey, champagne, white, black, emerald and pink, there is something for everyone. 

Artisan Products with a Focus on Fair Trade and Animal Welfare

All of Baboosha's slippers are produced by hand, one by one, limiting the number of slippers created each year and ensuring each pair is truly unique. Modern designs created in Pairs are brought to life by traditional craftsmanship methods passed down through generations of artisan families. What's more, Baboosha has a strict cruelty-free Alpaca fur sourcing policy which prioritizes animal welfare. The fur used throughout the collection is only available in highest altitudes of the Andes Mountain region and for all materials, Anastasia and her team work closely with our local partners to ensure the highest standards in responsible sourcing of leather, fur, and other materials. Importantly, local artisan partners are paid fair wages in order to improve the lifestyle of many families and grows the local economy in the Andes region.
