TEXTRA'S NEW ATHLEISURE

Textra is expanding its offer for summer 2019 with a new line of fabrics created for casual, leisure and activewear. The new line includes overprinting on a silver or gold lurex base, printing on different types of heathered bases, fabrics with a slightly glossy effect, and even on perforated performance fabrics. The new materials are perfect for creating leggings, t-shirts, tops, sports jackets and fleeces for sport and free time thanks to their weight (between 180 to 280g). In terms of print’s themes, geometric styles evocative of animal prints, and floral elements are the stars of the season.

TAIANA BLU'S BELLAGIO

For women, the 2019 collection approaches the athleisure segment with new developments for the Bellagio family of fabrics. The bi-stretch Bellagio fabrics are already ultra fine, light yet protective with a silk touch and elastic that holds its shape. They also offer great performance in terms of breathability, fit, and UV resistance. They are now being adapted for the world of sport with the help of new microfibers and athleisure-styled colors and prints. On the topic of activewear and sport, we additionally note a collaboration with the company Nilit for a mini collection of fabrics with refreshing properties thanks to the use of the Sensil Breeze fiber.

JERSEY LOMELLINA'S DANUBIO & BRISTOL

For SS19, we find two new ribbed fabrics : Bristol and Danubio. The first has semi-technical ribbing, refined and adapted for the world of fitness and beachwear. On the other hand, Danubio with its micro ribbing is timeless. A fabric full of energy for an active lifestyle, Danubio has been created for fitness lovers who are looking for a superior consistency with a pleasant feel and a fit that follows the body’s shape. Super opaque, soft and with an optimum stretch that holds its shape well, Danubio does not restrict the body, allowing freedom of movement and comfort, ideal for leggings and tops for everyday open air soft sports.

SIVA'S ACTIVE LACE

For SS19, Siva expands their offer by presenting two technologically advanced capsule collections for the swim and active sectors. Lace and lace panels with contemporary designs in their swimwear line bring new interpretations to this category thanks to their rich, vibrant nuances that guarantee a solidity of color. In the world of activewear, Siva lace experiments with innovative solutions. From items with an elevated stretch, to those perforated with unexpected designs, or with new imitations of wool, unusual patterns and geometric designs make an appearance in the Active Lace offering. Active Lace has been studied to meet the technical demands of the sportswear sector, while offering at the same time stylish solutions which are adapted to different occasions.
